  • 1. 500g Switch Mince Meat
  • 2. 500g white grain rice
  • 3. 2 Tbsp vegetable ghee
  • 4. 1 tsp all spices
  • 5. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 6. 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 7. 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 8. 40g fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 9. 50g roasted mixed nuts
  • 10. 300g frozen green peas
  • 11. Salt (to taste)

  • 01/

    Cut the frozen Switch Mince Meat into 3x3 cm cubes.

  • 02/

    Soak rice in cold water for 15 minutes, then drain.

  • 03/

    Heat vegetable ghee in a cooking pot.

  • 04/

    Add Switch Mince Meat breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon. Season with salt, black pepper, cinnamon, and minced garlic. Brown for 6-8 minutes.

    Add frozen green peas and sauté with Switch Mince Meat for 3 minutes. Set aside half of the cooked Switch Mince Meat on a plate.

  • 06/

    Add drained rice to the pot and sauté. Layer remaining Switch Mince Meat on top of rice.

  • 07/

    Pour hot water to cover rice and Switch Mince Meat. Bring to a boil and reduce liquid.

  • 08/

    Lower heat, cover, and cook for 18 minutes until rice is tender.

  • 09/

    Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  • 10/

    Garnish with parsley and roasted mixed nuts.
